Rockin’ Baby Sling (review/giveaway)

The first review/giveaway of my big BabyShower/Birthday Party!!!

Babywearing has become the newest thing. With Jeffery I just bought one of those ugly baby carriers, and it was bulky and hard to put on, hard to get him in and out of, and quite honestly uncomfortable and a big hassle. With Jaylin, I didn’t worry too much about it til she was a little older and I searched and searched for one of those hip carriers…I finally found one, and it worked well, but it bout killed my back…needless to say it only got a few uses. With this baby, I want it to be different, I know my life is going to be more hectic with the 2 older kids and a newborn. I want to be able to carry the new baby, and have an extra hand to tend to the other 2, but I also don’t want it to look horrible, or unstylish. Also, it would be nice to have something that can go from infant, to toddler, get my use out of it! Well, Rockin’ Baby Sling understands what a mother wants! Their slings and pouches are stylish, comfortable, and can be used from infant to toddler!! I have a Rockin’ Baby Sling already for the new baby! Now, I’ll be able to carry him around, comfortably (without my arm getting tired) and still be able to keep up with Jeffery and Jaylin!

Slings aren’t the only thing Rockin’ Baby Sling makes, they make pouches too. There are some significate differences between a pouch and a sling. A sling you can adjust while wearing it (1 long piece of fabric that is looped through 2 rings), can wear it in 5 different positions, and it comes in 1 size, to fit most body types. The pouch is a single loop of fabric that you put over your head, you adjust it by the 4 hidden zippers, pouches come in different sizes, xs, s/m, and m/l. Just like the sling, the pouch can be used in 5 different positions and is reversable. Both the sling and pouch can carry a child up to 40lbs (around age 3)

I choose the sling myself, because I am on the larger size, I wanted to make sure it would fit me. And I think I made the right decision, I got it out, and was able to figure out how to loop the end through the rings, and “tried it on” it was very simple. I like that it has a pocket at the end of the fabric (both sides) that has a velcro closure, I will be able to keep pacifiers or toys in there! The fabric is thick, and I feel safe putting my child in there, yet this summer, I don’t think it will get too hot for the baby. It’s a very nice sling! I can’t wait for baby to get here so I can put him in it!!! I must note, I don’t plan to cook with him in this sling….that is DANGEROUS! I also don’t plan to run with him in it…also dangerous!!
