Back to School Already?

August 30th! That will be Jeffery’s first day of Kindergarten You would think this wouldn’t phase me right? He’s been in Head Start for 2 years already, gone all day long both school years, even went for half a day on Fridays when he turned 3 the year before he started Head Start. I guess it’s because Head Start was optional, it was to help get him a little caught up with his language skills before Kindergarten….now, he’s required to go. I don’t have control over it. It is an official part of growing up…omg….I can’t believe it…my baby boy is growing up!

It freaks me out, because I look at Jaxon and I can remember when Jeffery was that size. Feels like it was just yesterday I was laying in a hospital bed in labor with him, and now he’s off to Kindergarten! It’s insane time flies so quickly!!!

On another note…I’m happy about it! These kids need a break from each other, this year will be the first year Jaylin will be alone (without Jeffery) in her class…so this will be the year for her to bloom! Plus, mommy is losing her ever loving mind lately with all the fighting between them two….I need a break!
