I Cried Tears of Joy

Directly after writing my last post about Jaxon’s delays and his upcoming appointment, I looked over to see him “waving” with both hands, I had him doing it awhile and I would do it back to him. I decided to clap and try to get him to mimic me with that, after a few times of me clapping and going “yay”, he decided to do it!! Granted, he only does 1 clap then giggles/grins about it….I was thrilled!!!! When I saw it, I got teary eyed and immediately told the girls in Skype about it. I then got the camera out to document such a wonderful milestone, he was stubborn….but here it is!!!!

I’m thrilled, and when he did it the first time I practically SCREAMED “yay, you did it!” Jeff was wondering what I was freaking out about…then he saw it!!! He’s thrilled as well!!! So, for an added bonus, here is daddy playing with Jaxon and making him giggle.

He’s such a happy boy I can’t wait to hold him!

He’ll make great progress because he makes eye contact with you both, and I’m sure he will with others. That’s always the first step, them being able to maintain eye contact so they can learn and progress.
