I never remember ever dressing up our cats growing up or playing with them that way. I do remember them sitting on my lap and me petting them as they purred.
I remember pictures of my mom dressing up her dog Bubbles and her cat Conoco, and her even having them in chairs pretending to teach them school.
When the pictures were getting pretty old I even went to Sears photo studio and had those pictures restored for her one year as a birthday present, along with one more with her as a toddler in a huge rocking chair with her dolly.
My younger sis has those photo's now since my mom passed away. We agreed that they should be passed down to her daughter, the first granddaughter of my mother. Besides I think she'd appreciate them the most because as a little girl my niece also dressed up her cat from time to time. Also my younger sis always loved playing school with her stuffed animals. I think my younger sis and her daughter got those genes from my mom since they skipped me.
