A Candy Store (review/giveaway)

I love candy! My kids love candy. My husband loves candy. So when A Candy Store agreed to a review (and giveaway! yay!) I was thrilled! I kept it hidden from the kids, and told Jeff, so he could pick out his own (been together 7 years and I had no idea what he would want) Everything at A Candy Store is in bulk, so it’s huge amounts!

Watermelon Rock Candy. YUM!

When I first went to A Candy Store, I was happy to see the different ways to search for candy. You can search by color, flavor, wrapped or unwrapped, brand, holiday, and types! My favorite flavor is watermelon and was excited to see all the different candy that was watermelon flavored! I chose watermelon rock candy. When all the candy arrived, the rock candy was the first thing I opened and ate some of. You have no idea how much 5lbs of rock candy is! The box is about the size of a shoe box (maybe a little bigger) and it’s filled! We’ve had the candy for about a week or 2, and I haven’t even made a dent in the rock candy! I hadn’t had rock candy is YEARS, and this was sooooooooooo sooooooo sooooooo good!

Something else I got was 5lbs of cinnamon imperial hearts, I love cinnamon. I snack on them as I’m watching TV. Out of the 5lbs I think I still have over 2lbs left. This is one thing the kids won’t steal from me, they burn their mouths. Jaylin told me “burn tongue mommy!” and hasn’t ate one since. The last thing I got for myself was a huge jawbreaker, the Mega Bruiser 1lb jawbreaker! Me and the kids have each had a lick or 2 of this, but we’ve been too into the other candy to focus on this huge thing. It’s seriously huge! I remember getting the smaller huge jawbreakers when I was a teenager, me and my BFF would get one, I’d never finish mine. Now I have extra tongues that can help me lol.

Now onto the candy Jeff picked out. He decided to get Orange Slices and Spice Drops, 5lbs of each! He’s been on night shift, so he’s been up all night when he’s off and that’s when he snacks on his candy. He’s even put some in sandwich bags and taken it to work. Actually, I took a little bit of all the candy (mine, Jeff’s and the kids’) and put into sandwich bags and give to my dad.

Now for the kids’ candy. I picked it out for them, based on what I knew they could eat safely, and I could control how much they could eat so they didn’t over eat, also, what their favorite candy is. I choose gummys!!!! Jaylin got Butterfly Gummys and Jeffery got Jet Fighter Gummys. There were 5lbs of each, these kids aren’t running out anytime soon, I

portion them out as they want them, either into a bowl or a sandwich bag for them. Jaylin’s butterflies are HUGE! Even I have to take 2 bites to eat just 1! I also got them Saf-T-Pops, which is suckers with a bended stick so you don’t have to worry about if they have the sucker in their mouth and fall, the stick won’t shove it down their throat, it’s almost like a rope. I keep some in Jaxon’s diaper bag to keep the kids occupied while we’re out together (no, Jaxon isn’t old enough for one, but I will let him suck on mine once or twice when I have one too)

So, we had over 30lbs of candy delivered to our door! That box was heavier than Jaxon! But, it will last us a long time! A Candy Store has a ton of different candy, something for everyone!!!!
