FURminator (review/giveaway)

I talk a lot about my kids, but I don’t talk about my fur babies. We have 2 dogs, Pepper is a dachshund/Australian  Sheppard mix, and Sweet Pea is a pug pup. We also have a cat who is currently very very very pregnant, seriously, she should pop any day now (Let me take this time to say, please get your pets spayed or neutered, she happened to jump out a window Jeff left open and we thought we lost her forever, she come home pregnant a few days later…this was before we had a chance to take her to get spayed…which we will do once these kittens are weaned) Our cat is named Kitty (thank Jaylin for that name) but I have been calling her Mama lately. Mama is a furry thing, and Sweet Pea, even though she has short hair, SHEDS BAD!

This is the Cat deLuxe deShedding tool. I love the purple!

I want to scream from the rooftops “THANK YOU FURMINATOR!” Because they sent me 2 deLuxe deShedding tools (I call them brushes) I was in shock with how much hair come off of my cat and pug! Sweet Pea can’t stand still for a minute, so she was harder to brush than Kitty. Kitty, oh my goodness, she LOVED it! She kept coming back for more! Of course there is more of her to brush right now, she had plenty of hair come off! I love the FURminator deLuxe deShedding tools for saving me from having to vacuum as much, or having to pull hair off my couch, blankets (because Kitty sleeps with us) or even our clothes. There is no having to yank the hair out of the brush either, it has a little “button” or FURejector on the back that you push and it pushes the hair off the brush.

They have different sizes, small, medium and large and then they have a cat tool. I was sent a medium size and a cat deLuxe deShedding tool for my pets. Some facts about them:

  • removes the undercoat and loose fur
  • reduces shedding up to 90%
  • for long or short haired pets

Small, Medium, Large and Cat FURminator deShedding tools

They are so easy too, I just opened the package and started brushing Kitty right away. Here is a picture of Kitty shortly after I brushed her, her coat is nice and shiny, looks a lot healthier.

The handle is easy to grip too, it’s sleek and comfortable. I could sit and brush the pets all day long.

You can only buy FURminator tools at pet specialty stores (like PetSmart) or vet clinics. FURminator is so good that I know a lot of grooming salons around here use them!

I have a very very hairy retriever mix! I also have a pug and what’s funny is the pug sheds way more and it sticks to everything. But the retriever drops globs all over. I also have a sort of long haired kitty as well.
