#CookiesKids Winter Wardrobe for Justin (Review with Discount Code)

Having four kids I am not short on hand me downs…but, all four kids are born in different seasons which means they don’t always have the right season clothes in the right size for the next kid. Oh and one is a girl so it doesn’t help when her little siblings are boys.  That’s not a problem for me since I love to buy new clothes for the kids. I just wish I had heard of Cookie’s Kids earlier, I could have saved quite a bit of money and time.

After realizing most of Justin’s warm clothes for Winter were pajamas I knew it was time to go shopping, only this time I would do it from the comfort of my bed. Once on Cookie’s Kids site I realized shopping was going to be an even bigger breeze than I thought. Once I moused over the gender I wanted to shop for, I was able to different categories of what I wanted to shop for. Once I found the category I wanted another subcategory popped up and I was able to narrow down the results even more.

I first shopped for some sets for Justin and found two adorable sets, the first one of course had a monkey on it. The other was a dressy type outfit that could also be a casual outfit. I then went in search for Justin’s first pair of jeans. The pair of jeans I found the cutest were sold out of 18-month size so I decided to get the 24-month size since he does wear cloth diapers and they are bigger than disposables and jeans don’t stretch as much as other types.

The monkey 3 piece outfit I bought for only $9.99!

The dress outfit I bought for $14.99 and the jeans I bought for $6.99. I love that the outfit can mix and match with other clothes to make different looks.

I browsed around the site and saw they have some cute pajamas and outerwear but unfortunately Justin didn’t need any of them as he already has a ton of pajamas and I already bought his winter coat and snow pants. I wish I had waited or known about Cookie’s Kids because it could have saved me some money and running around. If you want to read more about my shopping experience you can check out my Google+ Album that shows pictures of my entire shopping trip.

Of course as soon as the clothes arrived we had a mini photo shoot with Justin. Little did I know he would be difficult and not want to sit still for me, but it’s completely impossible to take a bad picture of him!

I could NOT wait to put him in the monkey 3 piece outfit!

Add the jacket…PRICELESS! I took him in this outfit to the hospital when he was sick and so many of the nurses commented on how cute the outfit was.

My boy is already cute, but to put him in a 3 piece outfit like the dressy one I bought…he’s just….see for yourself.

Isn’t he handsome?

The 3 piece outfit without the sweater.

I love mixing and matching outfits. I took the under shirt for the 3 piece outfit and put it with the jeans I bought and this is what come of it.

He reminds me of a little country boy…which is fitting since we live in the country.

I am so glad I bought 24-month size. They fit around his little fluffy butt and even though they are long they look precious rolled up at the cuff.

I added this one because I love the look on his face.

I enjoyed shopping at Cookie’s Kids. I will defiantly be shopping there more and for the bigger kids too. Nice to just sit back at home and shop for anything and everything clothing related and the shipping is always only $5.95! Other than shopping online at Cookie’s Kids, they also have 7 stores in the NYC area in Bronx, Brooklyn and Jamaica. This year Cookie’s Kids are celebrating their 40th year of business! A little about the company:

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer andFall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it’s way.
As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.
By the late 1990′s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.
