Lately I’ve been watching Justin’s personality come out. It made me think of the other three kids’ personalities and realize how very different each of my kids are.
Jeffery is a loving child…but doesn’t always know how to express his feelings. He wants to please everyone and be friends with everyone. He also wants to do things as quickly as possible and get the reward/outcome. While he’s my most difficult child, I can see under his tough guy thing and know he’s sweet and has potential to do anything he puts his mind to.
Jaylin is shy and loving. She is patient and caring. She is the complete and total opposite of Jeffery. Everyone she warms up to she talks their ear off and recently she has been talking to random strangers. I see all girl in her, I can see her talking on the phone for hours when she gets older. She is the definition of GIRL. Ask her what her favorite color is and she’ll say “pink and purple”. While I love that she’s all girl, I do dread the teen years when they hit…because at age 6 she can be moody so I can only imagine how much worse it’ll be in the future.
Jaxon. Oh boy where do I start with him. Since he’s not talking yet it’s been a little difficult to get his personality. After having a parent/teacher conference I have realized he’s a charmer. Even the custodian who walked in while I was there adores him. He is very hard to punish because he’s just got that way about him that you hate to be mad at him. He has a smile that can melt anyone’s heart. He is also trying very hard to be funny, he will do anything for a laugh.
Justin, watching him is so funny now. He’s mimicking us and I can see he’s trying to be goofy. This boy is ALWAYS happy. The only time he cries is when he’s hungry or fighting sleep. I see him being more and more like Jaxon as he was always a happy baby too. Justin is a thinker, you can see it on his face when he’s concentrating on something. I’m anxious to watch his personality come out more.
It’s so entertaining to watch these kids grow their own personalities and see what they become.
