Honda Helps Staten Island Little League

When hurricane Sandy come through, it caused a lot of┬ádevastation and the hardest hit areas are still struggling to rebuild to this day. Most people think of homes and businesses when they think of things that were destroyed, but how many think of the ball fields. Honda thought of them…Staten Island Little League’s field was torn apart by the storm and no money to rebuild it. I feel for those kids, because kids need something like ball to keep their minds occupied and in the YouTube video below they put it the best, they need a sense of normalcy. Honda donated $50,000 to the Staten Island Little League to help them rebuild. You can see the touching video below that shows their opening day this year and a link to where you can donate if you would like.

Honda is a brand I love, and a story like this just makes me love them even more. It’s awesome to see when companies do things like this.

  1. Normalcy is so important after such disastrous events. Kudos to Honda for their unbridled acts!

I think it should also be noted that Honda, after hurricane Sandy, pledged $500,000 to the hardest hit areas, as well as created a donation network throughout its Honda/Acura family.
