I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Huggies & Target. I received samples for this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
Jamison is 6 weeks old and I learned really quick that he pees a LOT…he seems to need a lot more diaper changes than my other kids ever needed this young. He was only 6lbs 15ozs when we left the hospital and the size newborn diapers seemed to almost be too big on him but they fit. I had bought a box of newborn size Huggies Little Snugglers diapers at Target the month before he was born because I figured he’d be like my other kids and be little. I’m glad I did because he went through that box really quick.
Huggies Little Snugglers come in sizes from preemie (to to 6lbs) up to size 3 (16-28lbs). In Target they had plenty of options to choose from with sizes of the packages and sizes of the diapers. I knew I’d need newborn size (up to 10lbs) for at least the first few weeks so I decided to get the Super Pack for $24.99 which had 88 newborn diapers in it. The NEW! Huggies Little Snugglers have a wetness indicator that lets you know when it’s time to change diapers, they also are very stretchy so they fit snug around the legs and waist. I think my favorite feature of the diapers was the Umbilical cord cut-out…it’s deeper than other brands’ newborn diapers I’ve used before.
While the diaper itself was soft and when he did go #2 he never blew out the back or out the legs… we did have a problem that when he would pee…it would leak. I don’t know how many times I had to change him (and myself) because he would pee while I was burping him and we’d both have wet clothes. It wasn’t the position of his private because I had learned to make sure that was pointing down with my other boys when changing diapers. He would sleep for 4 hours at a time and no matter what position he was sleeping in…he would wake up wet. Sometimes he’d wake up before 4 hours just because he was wet. I understand all babies are different…some fit well in certain diapers while others don’t. Some pee more than others as well. It didn’t stop me from using all 88 diapers in that box. 🙂
Huggies Little Snugglers are available in grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide! The suggested retail price starts at $11.99 for a Jumbo Pack.
