  14. We had our Easter egg hunt in March as my grand boys were visiting from Alaska. They love monster trucks!!

  15. Our Easter celebration actually begins during Spring Break when our family takes a mini vacation to a fun place where we can begin our Easter shopping. Living on an island in SE Alaska means having limited shopping options so shopping when we’re on vacation is a MUST. On the day before Easter my husband, our now 8-year-old son and I gather in the kitchen and decorate Easter eggs. It’s a fun annual tradition and we have a blast decorating eggs together as a family. We end the day with a candlelight service at our church. On Easter morning my husband and I watch our son as he hunts for his Easter basket, eggs and other treats. 🙂
